How To Write A BSA Risk Assessment

TELEPHONE OR WEBCAST SEMINAR

2:00-3:30 PM Central Time

If you want to have a good BSA examination, it all begins under the new exam manual with Risk Assessment.  Many financial institutions are having difficult examinations are loss in a compliance world where it is difficult to understand how to get started with complying with the new world order under the exam manual.  In our program, we will walk through how to write a risk assessment for your bank.  You will receive samples from other generous financial institutions to use as guideposts.  We will look at the requirements in the BSA exam itself.  How does an institution both risk assess itself, its customer, and write policy procedures and process to clearly define to examiners what our game plan is and the direction in which the institution is moving.  It is not hard but it takes some work to put the pieces together in a way that makes sense for your bank.  We will also look at OFAC risk assessment which should be a part of your bank's overall bank risk assessment.
